“Before we started using Huck vehicle returns with split floor panels meant either installing additional fixings or replacing the entire trailer floor which at £160 per panel is a costly exercise. The solution developed by our Huck distributor has a number of benefits.  Due to their high tensile strength fewer fasteners are required and can be set at intervals of 150mm instead of 100mm. Completed joints are also moisture resistant, thus protecting the wood element in the floor. Carried out by one operator instead of two, the simple installation process eliminates secondary tightening of bolts and possible thread snarling. In fact, the time saved is enabling us to produce six vehicles per week instead of five and in the six months since trialling this system no vehicles have been returned for repairs.”
